The tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel or residence in order to pick you up & begin the tour.

At this time, you will be visiting the National Parliament House from outside. It is considered as one of the most attractive buildings in Bangladesh.

You will reach probably at Dhakeswari Temple. It is a religious place for the Hindu community in Bangladesh.

Then, you will visit Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque. It is another noticeable tourist-spot in the country.

You will arrive at the key tourist point of Old Dhaka, which is the Lalbagh Fort. We can assure you that there you will spend quality time.

You will experience the most fantastic adventure by taking a rickshaw ride and visiting the Star Mosque. This mosque is beautifully decorated.

At this moment, you will reach at Armenian Church by walking for ten minutes. The church is built by Armenians, and it is designed beautifully.

After walking for 15 minutes, you will reach to the boat station and experience the most exciting part of the tour. You will enjoy a boat-ride on Buriganga River. While taking the ride, you will see numerous boats on the River, some of these boats are carrying passengers to pass by, and some are being used to sell goods. Overall, you will witness the life of people there.

Either you can take a rickshaw ride to reach your hotel or walk by Main Street photographing random roadside-activities.

It is lunchtime; you will be taken to a local restaurant.

You will walk on a unique street, which is known as Hindu Street. Locals call it Shakharia Bazar. There you will see old buildings and various shops that are raised on both sides of the road.

Ahsan Manzil- Visit one of the most beautiful palaces of Bangladesh. It is the palace of the Nawab of Dhaka.

You will visit one of the largest river stations in South Asia, which is known as Sadarghat River Station. There, you will see a crowded place. In fact, people go to the station to get into massive ferries and travel to the southern part of Bangladesh.

It is time to test your patience. Usually, at this time, most of the roads in the city get busy, and you will experience intolerable traffic jam.

Site Opening Hours & Tour Booking Time:

  • This tour is available to book at any time
  • All tourist sites mentioned above will remain open on Saturday, Tuesday & Wednesday. The Ahsan Manzil will stay closed on Thursday, and it will be enterable after 3.00 PM on Friday. But the site will be crowded as Friday is considered as a weekend in our country. The other tourist-spots will remain open for seven days a week.
  • On Government holidays, Ahsan Manzil and Lalbagh Fort will remain closed.

Price & Payments:

  • We have already mentioned the tour-price in the price chart. It is a starter package; if you purchase this package, you will have to join with other tourists. That means it will be a group tour.
  • We will include other people on the trip until we get the required tourists for the group tour. We will add a maximum number of six people on this tour.
  • For an exclusive private tour, the price is negotiable, and we haven’t included the price on the list. In this private tour, we won’t allow additional people, either. So, for booking the tour, you may contact us to know the price and relevant information.

Food & Drink:

  • We will try to arrange the lunch in time, but we would recommend you to keep snacks along with you in case of any delay.
  • The traditional Bengali foods are known for being spicy. And you will surely regret it if you don’t taste Old Dhaka’s most famous foods, which are Khichuri and Biryani.

Additional Notes:

  • We may take different routes in case of heavy traffic.
  • Besides all the attractions and foods, Dhaka city is also known for its incredible traffic. We may get stuck into one route for an extended period, so we recommend you to be prepared mentally to walk a lot. The traffic tends to be light on weekends, though.
  • In case of a group tour, we will visit the places by car. And rickshaw tour won’t be possible for this type of tour probably.
  • Before visiting religious sites, we recommend you to get dressed modestly. In this country, it is prohibited to go to these kinds of places wearing short pants/skirts, sleeveless t-shirts/blouses, etc. In some places, especially mosques & temples, you need to remove your shoes, as well, before stepping inside.
