Bangladesh Unbound Cancellation Policy for Customers
Effective from 1st January 2022
This page explains our Cancellation Policy. Any person who books or places a booking offer for a tour or any travel-related services on the Bangladesh Unbound site (“You”) and Bangladesh Unbound who offers tours or any travel-related services on the Bangladesh Unbound site (“Bangladesh Unbound”) can cancel bookings and accept cancellations, refunds or reimbursements under the following terms and conditions.
How to Cancel a Booking?
All cancellations must be initiated by contacting Bangladesh Unbound Support via:
- Emailing support@bangladeshunbound.com
- Message to Support through your email account which you have used to book your tour/s
- After we receive your written cancellation request, we’ll start the process accordingly
Note: Cancellation over Phone, WhatsApp or any other way will not be accepted.
Covid-19 Protection for Clients:
We noticed the significant uncertainty tourists now face when making travel plans. However, we appreciate that the situation with coronavirus continues to evolve and that you may be concerned about the need to cancel your tour or other travel arrangements at short notice.
In response to the current challenging circumstances, we now offer a Zero-Cancellation Fee on all bookings – including Tours, Hotel Bookings, and other Travel Services (except for factual expenses already incurred – e.g., issued e-visas, cancellation fees for issued airline tickets, bank transfer fee and more).

Bangladesh Unbound Covid-19 Policy:
- If your Home Country is under Lock-Down or puts Bangladesh on Red List before your arrival or the tour start date, you can Cancel your Booking/Tour Free of Charge.
- Or if Bangladesh is under Lock-Down or puts your Home Country on Red List before your arrival or the tour start date, you can Cancel your Booking/Tour Free of Charge as well.
In both cases, you can Reschedule or Cancel the tour to an alternate day or keep your Booking Open without Expiration and any Extra Charges. We’ll keep your deposit as a credit, and you can use it for booking any tours with us for yourself or present it as a gift to any of your beloved ones in the near future.
Or we’ll give you a Full Refund (excluding 3.5% Online Card/Payment Processing Fees) of your deposit/booking money if it’s not suited for you.
Note: To avail of this offer/protection, you must notify Bangladesh Unbound through email within 48 hours, such as any announcements made by your government. Failure to do so you’ll not be eligible for this offer/protection, and regular cancellation fees/charges will be applied instead.
Standard Policy:
Due to the extensive organisation involved with touring, a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. In the event of cancellation of tour/travel service(s) due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason(s), Bangladesh Unbound must notify of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing. Bangladesh Unbound will calculate the time following the time zone of the tour.
Once a booking is made, the following cancellation fees will apply:
Cancellation by Clients,
- 30+ > 30 Days To Arrival: FULL Refund (Excl. Online Processing Fees)
- 29 > 15 Days To Arrival: 30% of the Tour/Service Cost (Excl. Online Processing Fees)
- 14 > 07 Days To Arrival: 50% of the Tour/Service Cost (Excl. Online Processing Fees)
- 06 > 02 Days To Arrival: 70% of the Tour/Service Cost (Excl. Online Processing Fees)
- 48 > 00 HRS To Arrival: 100% of the Tour/Service Cost (Excl. Online Processing Fees)
Cancellation by Bangladesh Unbound,
For any unexpected reason, if Bangladesh Unbound makes the cancellation, we’ll give you an option to reschedule the booking to an alternate day without any extra charges. If it’s not suited for you, we’ll give you a Full Refund (excluding 3.5% Card Processing Fees) of your deposit/booking money.
Unforeseeable Events:
You may receive a refund of the tour price or may reschedule your tour if You are prevented from taking the tour because of an unforeseeable event that is out of your control and shows up after the booking (“Unforeseeable Events”). Determining what constitutes Unforeseeable Events is at the discretion of Bangladesh Unbound.
The following is a list of examples of what we consider as Unforeseeable Events:
(a) Impersonal events that make it dangerous or impossible to safely undertake a tour, such as travel restrictions imposed by governments, epidemic disease unusual to an area, war, civil insurrection, strike, extreme weather, earthquake and natural disaster;
(b) A ship that is unable to dock and prevents You from taking a tour identified and marked as a shore excursion tour type on the site;
(c) A flight cancellation if there are no other means to travel to the destination;
The following do not constitute Unforeseeable Events:
(a) Illness or injury of a tour participant;
(b) Poor weather;
(c) Change of plans;
(d) Oversleeping.
We may require You to provide verification or documentation to confirm that You were unable to take your tour if You request a refund or reschedule under this provision. You may check with Customer Support that an event is an Unforeseeable Event and that You can provide the required documentation before You cancel any booking.
Amendments.
*Bangladesh Unbound may modify and amend this Cancellation Policy from time to time at its sole discretion. Bangladesh Unbound will notify you by posting such changes on the site.
*Bangladesh Unbound will take No Responsibility if you book a tour/service without reading our Cancellation Policy or Terms & Conditions.
